The Halle Orchestra Concert: Sir Mark Elder, Conductor

The much loved annual visit of the Halle to Lincoln Cathedral is taking place on Saturday 12 May this year with conductor Sir Mark Elder and a fabulous programme of Borodin’s Overture Prince Igor, Mozart’s Symphony No.40,  Borodin’s Symphony No.2 and Tchaikovsky ’1812′ Overture.

Their last visit in September had a full house in rapture as Sophia Jaffe played the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1.

Entry is via the Cathedral’s West Front and doors will open at 06:15pm with the concert commencing at 07:00pm (wheelchair spaces are availble)

It was a sell out last time, so, to avoid disappointment, don’t delay.
