Maths Masterclass for children

Pupils who attended ‘Medieval Mathematics…..Masterly or Muddled’ on Wednesday 21st March are invited to participate in a maths masterclass for children, held in the Chapter House of Lincoln Cathedral.

Tickets cost £10 to cover costs and to help raise funds to run our local masterclasses. Tickets will be available from February 20th from Lincoln Cathedral shop (tel:01522561644/ shop@lincolncathedral.com ) or Unicorn Tree Books.

This event is in aid of Mathematics Masterclasses for young people in Lincolnshire which is one of the network of approximately sixty groups supported by the Royal Institution of Great Britain. These classes are aimed at enriching the experience of able young mathematicians at the local level, not unlike the aim of the RI’s Christmas lectures on TV. On the Saturday immediately following this event, these pupils will be taking part in a similar class though more mathematical in content. We are on www.mathslincs.org.
