Piano Recital by Hiroaki Takenouchi

Lincoln Cathedral is proud to announce that Hiroaki Takenouchi will be performing a piano recital by in aid of Lincoln Cathedral’s Music Appeal. The recital will be held in recital hall at Lincoln Minster School. Doors will open at 18:30 Programme will include the following: Parry:                  Selections from Shulbrede Tunes and  Hands across the centuries Beethoven:        Sonata in F Minor Op.57, Appassionata Tickets are £12.00 and will including a glass of wine. Dreams of Gold

“Dreams of Gold”, Lincoln Cathedral Flower Festival, 16-20 August - a very Lincolnshire way of celebrating the Olympics 2012 will see us all caught up in the excitement of the Olympic Games. Lincoln Cathedral and the Lincolnshire branch of NAFAS ( National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) have been inspired by this to celebrate the games in a very different, and very Lincolnshire, way. Every few years the Cathedral hosts a wonderful display of the flower arrangers’ art. This year’s theme “Dreams of Gold” is a direct tribute to the ideals of the games. Find out more ›
