Service to mark H.M The Queen's Diamond Jubilee-all are welcome!
Lord-Lieutenants in each County in England have been encouraged to arrange a local service of thanksgiving to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. With the kind support of the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln Cathedral, a Lincolnshire service of thanksgiving will be held in Lincoln Cathedral on Saturday, 19 May, 2012 at 3.00pm. This service will take the place of Evensong and will be open to all members of the public who have a ticket. Admission to the service will be by ticket only and members of the public who wish to attend may apply for the free tickets in writing (with a stamped addressed envelope) to Miss Alexandra Schimmel, 4 Priorygate, Lincoln, LN2 1PL (please mark the envelope “Jubilee Service”). Restricted Access: Queen’s Jubilee Service
On the 19th May Lincoln Cathedral will be holding a service to mark the Queens Diamond Jubilee and will be take place at 3pm. Due to this there will be restricted access for visitors from 1:30pm until 4:30pm. This service is open to the general public and all are welcome. Admission to the service will be by ticket only and members of the public who wish to attend may apply for their free tickets in writing (with a stamped addressed envelope) to Miss Alexandra Schimmel, 4 Priorygate, Lincoln, LN2 1PL (please mark the envelope “Jubilee Service”).
