Who’s Who
The Cathedral has an extensive library housed in the Wren Library, Canons’ Library and Exchequergate.
It is cared for and maintained by the Librarian (the Vice Chancellor) and Assistant Librarian. A Library Advisory Committee exists to support and develop the work of the Library. Amongst the Library’s considerable manuscript treasures is one of the four remaining Exemplars of Magna Carta. The Chancellor oversees the work of the Library on behalf of Chapter.

| The Chancellor is responsible for the Librarian and Assistant Librarian, the Education Officer, and the volunteers responsible for the guiding work and the schools’ work of the Cathedral. A particular focus is the development of public lectures and debate on matters of faith and social concern, enabling the Cathedral to be a place of open and honest debate. He is a member of the Humanities Faculty at the University of Lincoln. Mark is both a scientist and a theologian. | Nicholas has overall responsiblity for the Library and Cathedral archives. | In her work as Education Officer, Carol organises lectures, exhibitions and publications. | Julie has the day to day care of the Library and its volunteers. |
