How to book

Booking School trips is easy

Visits to the Cathedral

The Cathedral entry charge for school groups is £1 per child. No charge is made for accompanying adults. All pre-booked children’s guided tours lasting one hour are at no additional cost. It makes good sense to telephone (01522 561600) to disucss your trip in advance.

Library Workshops

Class/group visits to the library last one hour.   The sessions take place in the Medieval and Wren Library. They are aimed particularly at top juniors but older teenagers have also enjoyed the sessions!

Sessions are limited to approximately 15 children.

A fee of £1 per child is payable,  but again there is no charge for accompanying adults.

The Library is open to the public between 1pm and 3pm from the beginning of April until the end of  October.  Available times for school visits are therefore as follows:

April to October:  10am and 11am

November to March:  10am, 11am and 12pm

For more information please contact Julie Taylor the Assistant Librarian on 01522 561640 or by email on librarian@lincolncathedral.com

Please note: the library is on the first floor and there is currently no disabled access.
