1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1. In these terms and conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:
“Card holder” means an individual who has purchased a Community Card;
“Fee” means the payment required to purchase a Community Card at the date of joining the Community Card scheme;
“Offering” means the discount or other benefit that a partner business is making available to cardholders in the Community Card scheme;
“Partner business” means businesses that provide you with an offering as a cardholder;

2. Joining the Community Card Scheme

In joining the Community Card scheme, Individuals:
2.1 Can only join the scheme through payment of the fee.
2.2 Agree that the information provided on the application form can be used by Lincoln Cathedral in relation to the Community Card scheme and its benefits.

3. Process

3.1. Cardholders must always present the card to the Partner business before the payment transaction is completed. Cards presented after payment cannot be processed by the partner business. Your contract will be with the Partner business and Lincoln Cathedral is not responsible for any part of that contract including, without prejudice to the foregoing generality, whether the Offering is given to you, however if the Offering is not given to you please inform Lincoln Cathedral at The Chapter Office 4 Priorygate Lincoln LN2 1PL
3.2. The Community Card is not transferable to any other party.
3.3. Partner businesses have the right to check the name on your Community Card against that on a payment card to ensure right of use.
3.4. Cards may only be used during their period of validity.
3.5. Partner businesses have the right to vary their offering. Details of the current Offering may be found at www.LincolnCathedral.com/community-card. Lincoln Cathedral makes no warranty as to the accuracy of the content of Partner business’s information provided at that link.

4. Renewing your Membership

4.1. Lincoln Cathedral may send you a reminder as your membership comes to the end of its period of validity.

5. Purchasing Additional Cards

5.1. Additional Community Cards can be purchased as a gift to another individual. Details can be found at www.LincolnCathedral.com/community-card

6. Events outside the parties’ control
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance of this agreement which is caused by any event beyond the reasonable control of a party

7. Notices

7.1 Notices given under this agreement should be made in writing and in the case of Lincoln Cathedral should be delivered to The Chapter Office 4 Priorygate Lincoln LN2 1PL and in the case of the a card holder should be delivered to the address on the application form or such other address as may be notified to Lincoln Cathedral

8. Third Party Rights
No one other than a party to this agreement shall have any right to enforce any of its provisions.
