The North Lincolnshire Area Committee of the Lincoln Cathedral Preservation Council (Fabric Fund) organises several events each year to raise funds for the conservation and restoration of the fabric (stone, glass, timber and lead) of the building. Well over £1m has to be raised each year just to keep the fabric of the Cathedral in good repair and to preserve the building for future generations.

One of our major fundraising events of the year will be our Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot organised by committee member Tim Wood.

Taking place on Saturday 31st August 2019 – 3.30pm for a 4.00pm start, it will be hosted by Jonathan and Claire Fenwick at Claxby Shooting Ground, near Market Rasen.

The cost is £300.00 per team of four. This includes all cartridges and clays, with shooting to be followed by supper served in the barn at approximately 7.00pm.

Should any guests wish to join us later for the meal only, tickets will be £15.00 per head (Please note – we shall require numbers for any additional guests for catering purposes). There will also be a pay bar open for wine, beer and soft drinks

Please note that anybody taking part who is registered with CPSA at Class B or above, will be penalised by 10 clays. All guns must be carried in slips.

We are expecting good attendance so we advise an early response, newcomers welcome.
