Bassingham Choir who are an accomplished mixed voice community choir will be performing a piece called ‘Lost Voices’, an hour-long remembrance of World War 1.

The programme involves the placing of a poppy after introducing a piece of poetry written by a fallen soldier, interspersed with music of the time and in the words of those who had passed.

This piece has been performed by the choir at various venues throughout the past year and will continue to do so within Lincoln Cathedral and in the future.

This is a free event included within the normal Cathedral entry charge.
