Lincoln Cathedral Grand Summer Organ Series 2022 presents an organ recital by Darius Battiwalla.
As always, there’ll be a big screen so you can enjoy images of the recitalist in action in the organ loft, and during the evening there will be the opportunity to meet Darius.

About Darius Batiwalla
Darius Battiwalla has recently been appointed Leeds City Organist, performing regularly in the highly successful recital series in Leeds Town Hall, and is currently overseeing the complete reconstruction of the organ. He has given organ recitals at cathedrals and concert halls throughout the country, as well as recordings and broadcasts on radio 3.
He has given the recitals for the Royal College of Organists’ and Incorporated Association of Organists’ annual congress, appeared as soloist and orchestral organist and pianist for the BBC Philharmonic and Halle orchestras. Recent projects include a new work composed for Darius to perform with the Black Dyke Band, a performance of Karl Jenkins organ concerto in Manchester, solo concerts in Leeds, York, London and Moscow, and a live broadcast of Janacek’s Glagolitic Mass with the Halle.
