The Feast of the Annunciation of our Lord to the Blessed Virgin Mary

The commemoration of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple marks the end of the Christmas cycle of feasts, and reminds us that Christ is a light to all people.

The following services take place on the day:

Friday 24^th March: Eve of the Feast of the Annunciation

5.30pm          Solemn Evensong (with music sung by the Cathedral Choir)

Saturday 25^th March: The Feast of the Annunciation

9am              Morning Prayer

12.30pm       Eucharist

5.30pm         Evening Prayer

(Please note that Evening Prayer will be said on this evening, as the Cathedral Choir prepare for this evening’s performance of Bach’s St John Passion)
