Meet the Team behind Lincoln Cathedral Connected

Canon John Patrick, Subdean, Lincoln Cathedral

Canon John has oversight of the project on behalf of the Cathedral Chapter. As Master of the Fabric, he brings insight of how the building has evolved over the centuries to meet the changing demands of the Cathedral’s worship and mission.

Dr Anne Irving, Programme Manager, Lincoln Cathedral

Always fond of a challenge, Anne ensures the project meets the Cathedral’s needs and the Heritage Lottery Fund’s criteria for Heritage, People and Communities. She is responsible for developing the Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Fund bid.

Fern Dawson, Audience Development Officer, Lincoln Cathedral

Fern builds links between the project and communities based throughout the County, drawing on the experience of her Heritage MA and years spent at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.

Nick Cragg and Anna Cullum, Project Manager, Cragg Management

With decades of experience under their belts, Nick and Anna manage the capital side of the project and work closely with the Cathedral Team. Their unflappable nature and laser like focus keeps the project on track.

Andy Davy and Liz Simpson, Architects, Simpson and Brown

Designers of exquisitely beautiful buildings, Simpson and Brown now face the challenge of designing the Cathedral’s new visitor facility. Their use of natural building materials and eye for clean, elegant lines will produce a building perfectly at home next to the Cathedral.

Neil Swanson, Landscape Designer, Landscape Projects

Neil has immersed himself in understanding the Cathedral and its many roles. This manifests itself through his design concept, which is calm, eloquent and sensitive to the setting of the Cathedral and Close.
