There are several days where access to the Cathedral will be restricted due to events taking place. If this is the case, these dates can be found below.

Wednesday 8
Our organ is being tuned today. If you plan on visiting the Cathedral please be aware that there may be some noise.

Saturday 18
Screening of the Snowman. There will be restricted access to the Nave throughout the day. The East End of the Cathedral will remain open to visitors, with entry by the Judgement door and donations only. Unfortunately, there are no tours available and no joint ticket sales to visitors intending to visit the Cathedral today.

Tuesday 21
There are concert rehearsals throughout the day. This means that there are no floor tours available.

Wednesday 22
There are concert rehearsals throughout the afternoon. This means that there is no afternoon floor tours available.

Saturday 25
There are concert rehearsals throughout the afternoon. This means that there is no afternoon floor tours available.

December

Tuesday 5
BGU Christmas Carol Service – Restricted access to St Hugh’s Choir between approx. 1.30pm – 3.30pm. No afternoon floor tours will be available.

Wednesday 13
Our organ is being tuned today. If you plan on visiting the Cathedral please be aware that there may be some noise.

Thursday 14
Diocesan Schools’ Carol Concert in the Nave. Restricted access to the Nave between approx. 12.30pm – 3.00pm. Access will be restricted and entry will be via the Judgement Door. Joint Tickets will not be accepted.

Wednesday 20
Lincoln Minster School end of term service in the Nave. Restricted access to the Nave between approx. 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Visitors will still be able to access the Cathedral by the Judgement Door. No joint ticket sales for visitors intending to visit that afternoon. No afternoon floor or 1.30pm roof tour available.
