There are several days where access to the Cathedral will be restricted due to events taking place. If this is the case, these dates can be found below.
August

2 August
11.15 Funeral in St Hugh’s Choir. Access to the Choir will be restricted from approx. 10.30am – 12.30pm. No AM floor tours will be available.

3 August
11.00 Funeral in the Retro Choir. Access to the Retro Choir will be restricted from approx. 10.15 – 12.00pm.

1430 Blessing of a Marriage. Restricted Access to the Retro Choir between 2.00 and 3.30 approx.

Only floor tour available on this day will be 1pm.

10 August
RAF Centenary Dinner- Restricted access to the Nave throughout the day. No tours available. Visitors will be able to view the east end via the Judgement Door. Entry will be by donation.

11 August
Restricted access to the Chapter House for private event.

11 August
1500 Baptism. Restricted Access to the Retro Choir between approx. 2.30 and 4.00pm. No 3pm floor tour available.

15 August

10 – 14 September
University of Lincoln Graduation Ceremonies. Restricted access to the Nave throughout the week. Entry will be by donation at the East End. East end floor tours will be available at 11am and 2pm, however unfortunately no upper level tours. No joint ticket sales for visitors intending to visit the Cathedral this week.

15 September
Heritage Open Day. Entry to the Cathedral will be free as part of Heritage Open Days. Extra roof and tower tours will be available throughout the day, bookable in person on the day only. No joint ticket sales for visitors intending to visit the Cathedral today.

17 September
1400 Lincoln Minster School Prize Giving. Access to the Nave restricted from approx. 1.30pm – 4.00pn. Entry will be by donation at the East end. No PM tours available. No joint ticket sales to visitors intending to visit the Cathedral that afternoon.

21 September
No afternoon floor tours available due to a concert rehearsal taking place in the Nave.

29 September
Unfortunately no afternoon floor tours available due to Organ Practice.
