Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, the 40-day period leading up to Easter. Ashes are made by burning palm branches blessed in the previous year’s Palm Sunday celebration, and are an ancient sign of penitence and of our mortality.

This series explores virtues of Christian living, to help us to consider how we inhabit the Christian life, and to help those preparing for baptism and confirmation to consider what their commitment entails.  The topics have been chosen by the preachers.
