Join us as Jeffrey Makinson plays Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativite du Seigneur – 7pm on Saturday 4 January 2025

Written in 1935, at age 27 Olivier Messiaen wrote his “personal statement to faith” as the birth of Jesus inspires the nine-movement work.

Described as one of the greatest Organ works of our time, our Cathedral Organist, Jeffrey Makinson, will be playing on the spectacular Father Willis Organ in this unmissable concert.

Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur – a seasonal classic here at Lincoln Cathedral.

The organ loft will be projected onto a screen during the concert and afterwards, there will be an opportunity to meet the organist.
