Family Fun & Learning

You and your whole family can be sure of a warm welcome and a great day out at Lincoln Cathedral!

To make sure every member of the family has fun, you’ll find fun activities and information around every corner as you explore the Cathedral. At the welcome desk you can pick up an exciting themed backpack, full of activities to enjoy as you explore the Cathedral. For younger children, there is an activity trolley with books, dressing-up, puppets, and much more!

The Discovery Centre is an unmissable hands-on experience that is enjoyable for all ages. Get hands-on in the Discovery Centre with activities for everyone to enjoy! Try your hand at being a stone mason and build a giant arch! Parents, grandparents and toddlers love the cosy play corner, and who doesn’t love dressing-up?

Every school holiday we host much-loved themed family arts and crafts in the Learning Centre, all of which are free with admission. And don’t forget, children aged 16 and under visit free with a paying adult.

See below for more details of upcoming activities you can take part in.
