Lincoln Cathedral is a film friendly location, having featured in a number of productions for television and film.

We have experience in small TV productions up to large productions for a cast and crew of hundreds and work alongside partners to support location crews wishing to film in the area.  

Star-studded

Lincoln Cathedral has featured in a number of feature films, most recently Napoleon, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Joaquin Phoenix, which is due to be released in November 2023.

Previous filming has included Netflix production The King with Timothée Chalamet, Young Victoria written by Julian Fellowes with Emily Blunt in the lead role, and the Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.

TV productions have included:
