My nine month secondment as Interim Dean comes to an end on Christmas Day. I’m very much looking forward to the next two months, and to celebrating Christmas at the Cathedral. The process to appoint the next substantive Dean is underway, and interviews are scheduled for February. To cover the period between my departure and the installation of the new Dean, the Bishop and Chapter have put in place some new interim arrangements.
The Bishop has appointed our Precentor, the Revd Canon Nick Brown, as Interim Dean from 26 December. I’m delighted to be handing over the reins to Nick, and know that the Cathedral’s life and ministry will go from strength to strength with Nick at the helm…
