As the summer holidays roll out, so do our amazing family activities!
From exciting exhibitions to brilliant arts and crafts, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
All activities are free with cathedral admission and children visit FREE with a paying adult. If you add Gift Aid to your admission you can return to the Cathedral for free for 12 months!
Conformity and Creativity exhibition

The ‘Conformity and Creativity‘ exhibition will be in our Discovery Centre.
Arts and Crafts
Tuesday 6 August to Friday 30 August
We’ll have creative crafts, perfect for sparking your little one’s imagination. You can help complete our giant collage of ‘Your Favourite Stories’ including Elmer, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Snail and the Whale and more and create costume dolls and story characters to take away.
All our crafts will be available from Tuesday to Friday each week.
Story times in the Nave
Every Wednesday during August
Join us in the North Transept every Wednesday in August at 11am to enjoy peaceful story time.
Forest Trail
Pickup a map of our forest trail in the Cathedral to complete during your visit or to take home!
Please note that while the ‘Conformity and Creativity’ exhibition takes place in the Discovery Centre, some of our regular exhibits will be available in the Learning Centre.
