This last week, we the focus of our Lenten journey has turned toward the Cross, and the coming commemoration of Christ’s passion – which, of course, leads to the glorious event of Easter Day. At the heart of the Christian story is the humbling of Christ – taking on the sins of the world in order to transform the world.
