Creative Reactions Exhibition

Join us in the Chapter House to find out what happens when science and art collide!

This exhibition is inspired by Pint of Science, Lincoln. Pint of Science is the world’s largest festival of public science talks and it returns to Lincoln from 13 to 15 May. Each evening, researchers from the University of Lincoln will give engaging, interactive talks in The Pessimist, DoughLoco, and The Cardinal’s Hat.

More information and tickets are available from www.pintofscience.co.uk

This exhibition is the embodiment of each Pint of Science research subject, as seen through the work of an artist. Its aim is to promote connections across disciplines, open conversations, and promote engagement with research, education, and the arts. This year 18 pieces of research have provided the starting point for our creatives to explore. Phil Bowman from the Gallery at St. Martin’s and some of his community artists, as well as artists from the University of Lincoln, and from the wider Lincolnshire community have created this year’s art works.

We very much hope this exhibition shows what can happen when people work together with an open mind, a spirit of generosity, and strong teamwork!
