In the Chapter House
Do you have no longer loved toys or books? Grown out of your favourites? Bring them to the Cathedral Chapter House for our big community swap event. You might find something just perfect.
(Please not the usual Cathedral admission charge applies, but if you gift aid your admission or ask for it be a donation, you can receive an annual pass and return to the Cathedral free for a year. Children aged 16 and under can visit for free.)
Terms and Conditions:
Toy swap
There are four age categories:
Baby and Toddler, Ages 5 to 7, Ages 8 to 14
Bring a maximum of 10 toys per family
All toys must be in clean – very good/or better condition
Swapping must be fair and fully agreed by both parties
All toys not swapped must go home with you, as we cannot store toys
Adults are responsible for ensuring the age/ability suitability of swapped toys
Lincoln Cathedral accepts no responsibility for any swapped toy issues
During busy times we may ask you to wait in another area
Holiday Crafts are still available during times advertised
Free event with general admission
No monies to be exchanged
Book swap
There are four age categories:
Baby and Toddler, Ages 5 to 7, Ages 8 to 12, Teenage and Adults
Bring a maximum of 10 books per family
All books must be in clean – very good, or better condition
Swapping must be fair and fully agreed by both parties.
All books not swapped must go home with you as we cannot store any books
Lincoln Cathedral accepts no responsibility for any swapped book issues
During busy times we may ask you to wait in another area.
