This is the tagline that has been chosen to accompany our vision and strategy over the next five years.

Hope is at the heart of the Christian faith. Easily misunderstood as meaning wishful thinking or optimism, Christian hope has its feet firmly on the ground.  It’s rooted in reality, the often messy reality of human lives.  It’s also rooted in Jesus Christ: ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory’, as St Paul puts it (Colossians 1.27). Trust in God’s promises gives us this hope, which is not only about a future promise of eternal life; this trust also gives us a distinctive love-centred hope that enables us to live with a transformed perspective in the here and now…
