Visitors to the Lincolnshire Show will have the chance to win a pair of tickets to this summer’s much anticipated production of Oliver! at Lincoln Cathedral.
As always, the Lincoln Cathedral marquee will be full of activities, information and inspiration for visitors of all ages. Once again, you’ll find us in the Discovery Zone.
As work on the Cathedral’s new visitor centre continues, the team from Lincoln Cathedral Connected will be on hand to reveal the latest details about the project. The Old Deanery visitor centre and the surrounding landscaped gardens are due to open in 2020 and will offer exciting and inspirational new spaces for local communities and visitors to the city to enjoy.
In August 2019 the Starring Lincoln Theatre Company, with a cast of 150 local actors, will fill the Nave of Lincoln Cathedral with a stunning performance of the musical Oliver!
This year’s show is the Cathedral’s most ambitious production yet, running for 11 performances from Monday 5 August to Friday 16 August.
Tickets for the show have been selling rapidly, but one lucky visitor to the Lincoln Cathedral marquee at the Lincolnshire show will win a pair of tickets to one of the performances. Simply speak to a member of the team in the marquee and leave your details to be entered into the draw.

Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to meet some of the Cathedral’s team of stonemasons and glaziers who work to conserve the fabric of the building. You’ll be able to find out more about how to adopt your very own part of the Cathedral – from a stained glass window to an organ pipe, or even a medieval manuscript.
We’ll be asking our creative younger visitors to help us decorate our flock of sheep as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Lincolnshire Agricultural society.
And as always, we will be offering a quiet space for reflection, amidst the hustle and bustle of the show.
