Our 2025 booklet series contains 4 publications focusing on four exciting topics: the Treasury, Needlework, Graffiti and Tombs & Monuments. Each booklet delves into the rich history and heritage of Lincoln Cathedral.

Throughout the Cathedral there are many examples of beautiful textiles and embroideries, some old and some contemporary. Not everything shown in this booklet is on general display but some vestments are regularly worn at services and represent the liturgical year. Although the locations of piece described in this booklet are their usual homes, sometimes they are found elsewhere.

Lincoln Cathedral Needlework Guild (LCNG) is a small group of volunteer embroiderers who design, produce, alter and repair vestments and other ecclesiastical items for the Cathedral and churches in the diocese.
