Description
This ceramic mug features an illustration of Lincoln Cathedral’s Chapter House on the front, and the Cathedral branding and logo for the project on the back.
Lincoln Cathedral Chapter House is a wonderful 13th century building. Although it has been under conservation and repair for the last three years, it still needs a great deal of love and attention. The stonework where the next phase of work will take place is showing advanced signs of distress, with many of the elaborate carvings and decorative stones around the parapet and in the arches over the window experiencing stone falls. Much of the work needed is the result of the environmental factors, as well as correcting many of the lasting impacts of work undertaken during the Victorian period.
The Chapter House Phase Two collection is one of the many ways in which you can support this project. For further details and other ways you can get involved, visit Lincoln Cathedral Chapter House Appeal.
