Join us on our external tour of Lincoln Cathedral!

On Monday 2 October at 1pm we’ll be holding the last outdoor tour of the season. Don’t miss out or you’ll have to wait until the spring.

At the West front, discover the history of the Cathedral and see original Norman features and the internationally important Romanesque Frieze.

Travelling around the South-side of the Cathedral, you’ll discover fascinating stories from the 950 year history of this important landmark. Find out more about the imposing tower which can be seen from over 40 miles away and learn more about the colourful stained glass windows and the tales they tell.

The Cathedral is highly decorated and you’ll find out more about the elaborate carvings which cover the building.

As you reach the East end of the Cathedral discover the 10 sided Chapter House which once hosted Parliament, and finally visit the Dean’s Green garden.

The tour will last approximately 1 ¼ hours.

The tour costs £7.50 per person
