Lincoln Cathedral has announced that its theme for 2024 will be ‘Our World; God’s Creation’.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1
The year will be a celebration of life on earth, communities and sustainability, with events, talks and education activities throughout the year to encourage everyone to get involved and take simple steps to help create a more sustainable future and foster communities which help everyone to flourish.
As well as events and activities, the Cathedral is working to become a more sustainable organisation in all areas of its life, worship and business. We’ll share updates on this throughout the year and we hope that we’ll encourage others to do their par too – by working together to make small changes, we can have a huge positive impact for our planet, our communities and our future. Forthcoming events and activities
The Mindful Mile
Join us on the second Tuesday of each month as we take a moment out of a busy day to reconnect with the outdoors as we complete three laps of the Cathedral. Our leaders are there to set a gentle pace, and to share a topic of interest. Afterwards you are welcome to join us for a hot drink.
